Often I work with individuals and couples that feel stuck. Stuck in their energy and going through the motions. Stuck in their meaning, deeply desiring a sense of purpose but not quite “having one.” Stuck in their relationships and unsure how to communicate. I try not to view symptoms as pathological, instead listening and letting them inform healing. From my perspective, symptoms are non-verbal guides to give us clues into what you may need. Pivoting away from self-punishment to co-existing with all the parts of one’s self.

In treatment, I balance short-term solutions with adjusting long-held narratives. Sessions often focus on patterns and cycles you see in your life, ways of relating to people, investigating what you were taught or what was normalized, what you may have internalized, and encouraging agency and a sense of belonging.

Building a relationship with one's self, learning how to invite and accept care, setting clear and kind boundaries—all of those are skills we don't naturally learn in the system(s) we live in. But therapy could be a place where we do things differently, slowly but surely.

Where you feel like you are an active member of your life, not that life is happening to you.

Services

Individual Therapy (Adult)

Space and time weekly for your individual feelings, thoughts, curiosities, concerns, and beyond. Transformative things happen when we can tune in, give our minds and bodies care, and navigate life from a place of knowing ourselves deeply.

Couples, Family, & Partner(s) Therapy

Short-term or long-term sessions dedicated to seeing one another again, finding and creating new roles, branching out and breaking cycles. Often partner(s) therapy is just about getting unstuck. If you end up on a couch together, it means you’re willing to try. That is a wonderful place to start.
